Design Goals

As part of my role at the Royal college of paediatrics and child health, as a Children and young people (CYP) Administrative assistant, I was tasked with creating social media content for the upcoming annual conference. The branding was aligned with the children’s program for the RCPCH, and I was given the schedule of activities which would be taking place, which involved the young people. The aim was to create content branding children and young peoples voices. The process involved collaborating closely with the young people team to ensure that the content created resonated with the audience and effectively communicated the inclusive and engaging nature of the conference. This included utilizing a mix of visual and written content using Canva to showcase the participation and perspective of children and young people as integral parts of the event. Additionally, the social media content was designed to reflect the values and mission of the RCPCH, highlighting the importance of involving the young generation in discussions and decisions that directly impact their lives. The ultimate goal was to create a vibrant and dynamic online presence that captured the enthusiasm and energy of the children’s program and the young participants, while also promoting the significance of amplifying their voices within the context of the conference.
